I’m a private lactation consultant (CLSP) supporting women and families in Oakville and surrounding cities. My overall goal is to support you in feeling confident and empowered in your breastfeeding journey.
Before becoming a lactation consultant, I spent three years in midwifery school, which gave me a holistic view of birth and postpartum care. I had the privilege of working alongside diverse healthcare providers, which helped me develop a deeper understanding of the many aspects of motherhood. Before that, I worked at a university, and even taught a few courses in Geography. That experience taught me the value of good communication and life-long learning.
As a mother of two, I know how challenging—and beautiful—the early days of feeding can be. I’m here to offer you empathetic, practical guidance, whether you’re a first-time parent or growing your family. People often describe me as warm, real, and reassuring, and I’m dedicated to creating a space where you feel truly heard and supported.
In my practice, I honour each family's unique traditions, beliefs, and feeding choices. Whether you’re breastfeeding, pumping, or combining feeding methods, I’m here to help you find the solutions that work best for you. I combine evidence-based practices with a present, informal approach, so you never have to feel overwhelmed or judged.
If you're looking for someone knowledgeable, supportive, and who respects your individuality and helps you meet your feeding goals, I would be honoured to assist you on your journey. Contact me today!
*I will be writing the IBCLC exam in Spring of 2025 for even further international certification!
